About Me
I am an artist, life coach, mother, and activist. My journey has been anything but conventional, but every twist and turn has led me to a place where I can help others embrace their own unique paths.
The Artist
Motherhood changed me in ways I never expected. In the sleepless haze of newborn nights, I found solace in art. Half our dining table became my sanctuary, a space where I could create something that was purely mine. The pull to paint was stronger than my desperate need for sleep. Fluid art became my escape, my healing, and my passion. It was through the movement of paint and color that I rediscovered myself.
Today, I create original artwork and functional art pieces, including coasters, trays, jewelry, and wall hangings. My resin-coated pieces not only showcase intricate designs but also offer durability, ensuring they remain beautiful and practical. I also specialize in resin ocean waves, capturing the essence of fluidity and nature’s power. Art, for me, is more than just creating—it’s about connection, healing, and inspiration. My hope is that each piece resonates with you, evoking the same sense of wonder and peace that I experience while making them.
The Life Coach
Life has taught me that growth and transformation happen when we step outside of our comfort zones—but that doesn’t mean it has to be a struggle. I help women overcome anxiety, break free from expectations, and reclaim fun and play as powerful tools for personal growth.
Did you know that while it takes 200-400 repetitions to form a memory, it only takes 10-20 when creativity and play are involved? That’s the secret sauce! I use creativity and play to help people get out of their own way and move toward their dreams. I help women turbocharge their personal growth, get unstuck mentally and emotionally, and start living their most authentic lives. Growth doesn’t have to be painful—it can be playful, liberating, and deeply fulfilling.
The Journey
My path began in an unexpected place: the electrical industry. At 16, I became an electrician, and by 20, I had my license. I was soon recruited by ControlWorks, where I grew into a Building Automation Engineer, later working for Schneider Electric. My days were spent on construction sites, commissioning electrical equipment, troubleshooting, programming, and writing technical documentation.
By 28, I was exhausted. I had spent years navigating an industry where subtle biases were often harder to handle than outright sexism. I was called “bossy” for simply doing my job, met with discomfort from coworkers who weren’t used to working alongside a woman, and dismissed with demeaning office jokes about my success. Even well-meaning colleagues, in their attempts to “protect” me, reinforced the idea that I didn’t belong. The constant battle for respect and recognition was draining, but it also fueled my passion for gender equality. I knew I needed to fight for change in a different way.
So, I pivoted. I pursued my love of psychology and neuroscience at Macquarie University in NSW, fascinated by the complexities of the human mind. Then, life took another turn—my husband’s job moved us to Oregon. The transition was rocky, filled with hurdles in transferring academic credits, but I found my way back to studying psychology and sociology at a local college. Then, I became pregnant with my first child, and once again, my life shifted.
The Transformation
Through it all, fluid art became my second identity. It grounded me, giving me a creative outlet and a sense of self. But my passion for personal growth never faded. I became certified in Heartwork Journaling, a powerful form of life coaching that facilitates deep healing and transformation. The changes I’ve witnessed in myself and my clients have been nothing short of extraordinary.
I believe that when we heal ourselves, we heal the world. When we stop accepting the unacceptable, take ownership of what we can change, and cultivate serenity for what we cannot, we create ripples of transformation. Just as illness can be contagious, so can healing. Imagine a world where our leaders, our communities, and our families are whole and healthy. That world starts with us.
This is my journey. This is my mission. I invite you to join me on this path of creativity, growth, and healing.
